Runs & status

Updated 2026-04-18

A run is one end-to-end execution of an intelligence tool inside a project. You supply structured inputs, Pinnora validates permissions and credits, executes the request, then returns outputs and usage details to the workspace.

Understanding statuses—and knowing where to read usage—helps you differentiate genuine failures from intentional guardrails.

Typical lifecycle

  1. Open your project and navigate to the relevant section (Research, Creative, Quality, Delivery).
  2. Fill validated inputs; inline hints explain prerequisites when upstream tools must finish first.
  3. Submit and watch the run panel transition through queued, running, completed, or failed.
  4. Completed runs expose structured outputs—copy, export, or feed them into downstream tools per your workflow.

Role required: Tool execution requires a role with run permission in the current org/project scope. Read-only roles may view run history without starting new runs.

Each transition writes audit-friendly metadata so owners can reconcile credits later.

Credits and metering

Organizations deduct credits based on:

  • Published per-tool estimates from Tools overview for predictable workflows.
  • Metered settlement when you opt into heavier models or media-heavy outputs—see AI model credit rates for modality baselines.

If balance is insufficient, you will see a proactive message linking to Credits & billing rather than a cryptic failure.

When runs fail

Start with the inline error string—inputs, prerequisite data, or service availability each produce different copy. Retry once for transient faults; recurring errors may require adjusting inputs or contacting support with project slug and timestamps.

Premium video or Deep Research-style jobs may take minutes; patience usually beats hammering reruns that duplicate charges.

Getting assistance

Collect the following before contacting support:

  • Organization slug (/org/...)
  • Project name and tool name shown in the UI
  • Approximate run time in UTC

Billing questions should attach invoice PDFs when available.
