Pinnora's document generator writes one document per run, from 35 templates: reports, one-pagers, competitor teardowns, creative briefs, sales battlecards and board updates. You give it the question the document has to answer, and it reads your project's brand, research and strategy to answer it. Live web research is a toggle.
The tool is open above. This is the short version of what to do with it.
The question the document has to answer plus who reads it, in a few lines rather than a headline. Up to 4,000 characters.
35 document types. Custom Report lets the engine pick the sections; the named ones, from Board Update to PRD, come with a fixed structure.
Opens on Full audit. Narrow it to at most three of Brand, Research, Strategy, Performance and Creative to hold a short document to one subject.
Live web research is off by default and adds about 30 to 45 seconds when the answer needs outside facts. What lands is a branded PDF.
Short answers to what people ask before they start.
The Template dropdown carries 35. Past the obvious ones there are Brand Book, Whitepaper, Investor Memo, GTM Plan, Media Plan, Persona Card, Positioning Statement, Sales Battlecard, Quarterly Business Review, Post-Mortem / RCA, Press Release, Win/Loss Analysis, Customer Onboarding Plan, RFP Response and Founder's Letter. Each one carries its own section structure and its own description in the dropdown, so the Template you pick changes the shape of the document, not only its title.
Template and Subject / brief. Subject / brief takes at least 8 characters and up to 4,000, and it wants the question plus who reads it. Everything else has a working default: Context filter on Full audit, Live web research off, Title override blank. The bigger lever is the project selector in the header. On Quick tools there is no brand to read, so pick a real project and leave Use this project's details On.
A PDF. The document is written as brand-styled HTML first, and the viewer offers a single Download PDF option. If no PDF was rendered at creation time, the first click renders one from the stored HTML and caches its file id on the document, so every later click is immediate. Markdown and plain-text downloads are deliberately not offered on documents.
Context filter decides what it reads: the Brand, Research, Strategy, Performance and Creative context the project already holds, or all of it on Full audit. Turn Live web research on and a search pass runs before drafting, returning findings with source URLs the document cites inline. On Quick tools there is no project to read, so the document rests on your Subject / brief alone.
Usually one to five minutes, and Live web research adds roughly 30 to 45 seconds on top. It runs as a background job with its own status row instead of inside the request, so a closed tab or a network blip does not kill it. The row names each phase: pulling brand and project context, researching, authoring, uploading the HTML, then rendering the print-ready PDF.
Yes. A revision goes back through the same engine as an instruction of up to 2,000 characters, so you describe the change and get a new version rather than patching a file by hand. Landing Page (snapshot) and Email (snapshot) are the two entries in the Template list that do not take this route; they revise through their own render path.
The rest of the family. Every one is free to try and runs on the same engine.
